Any circuit geek can tell you how difficult it can be to remember what all the resistor values in your circuit are. Resistor Color Code takes the guess work out of circuits and allows you to know for sure what your resistor is.
An easy to use resistor color code identifier. Just swipe the resistors color code with your thumb and instantly see the resistors value. No complicated menus just a simple and easy to use tool!

Pros and cons of Resistor Codes Pro app for iPhone and iPad
Resistor Codes Pro app good for
Really nice resistor code reading application, seems more intuitive than any of the other applications in the store.
Just as simple and intuitive to use as the free version, and this version adds more features!
Great design, I love it. Any electrician needs this.
Wish I had this back when I was in school sure would have made my life easier.
This app has awesome functionality with great features! I dont need any complicated programs just this to get what I need done!
Easy to use, but I remember early editions of this software included a parallel an series calculator.
This app paid for it self in 10 seconds!!!
Best 99¢ I have ever spent!!!!
Some bad moments
I was enjoying the 4-band version and happily upgraded to the "pro" version when I needed to find values for 5-band resistors. Part way into a project, I wondered why my supplier sent me some wrong value resistors (verifying with the app), when I double checked the math on the 5-band both by hand and a java-based resistor checker. THE MATH IS OFF!
This app will NOT calculate a 2.2 M Ohm 1% resistor in 5 bands (it goes from 220K to 22M Ohm).
Bad math = unusable (and inexcusable).
Tried to contact developer without success. Found a free resistor code app in the store that does 5/6 bands accurately, but the UI isnt as nice. Have requested a refund from Apple.
